This is another short week, with no school on Monday to observe Indigenous Peoples Day. Here’s what to expect this week:
Tomorrow there will be no school, and classes will resume on Tuesday, October 15.
This week also marks the beginning of Quarter 2. Grades for Quarter 1 should be updated on Infinite Campus this week as teachers submit them.
Wednesday, October 16, 8th Grade families will have their Mandatory Spring Week Registration Night from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Keep an eye out for messaging from the 8th grade team for more information. You may also reach out directly to your 8th grade humanities teacher or Mr. Davis if you have any questions.
On Friday, 6th graders will take their annual trip to Codornices Park as a grade level. Reach out to Ms. Mahmood for more information.
This Saturday, come out to the Fall Festival from 12:00 - 4:00 PM at the King basketball courts. Come out to enjoy food, fun, activities, and an opportunity to be in community with each other!

Our first Family Equity Night will be happening on Thursday, October 24, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. More information will be coming soon!
On Monday, October 28, we will have Picture Day Makeups. These makeups are specifically for students who were absent on the original Picture Day or who paid to order pictures.
On Tuesday (October 29), Wednesday (October 30), and Thursday (October 31), there will be minimum days with 12:20 dismissal due to Teacher Conferences Week. Conferences will occur on the nights of Tuesday and Wednesday that week. We will have more information about conferences soon.
