Parenting Middle Schoolers in the Digital Era: Supporting Dialogue and Strategies for Building Healthy Tech Habits
Young people are seemingly glued to their devices. But what are they experiencing and how do we support them? Come join us for an interactive talk that will focus on some of the key issues teens are facing today, such as toxicity in gaming, texting dilemmas, and the “Sephora teens” phenomenon. Discover ways to dialogue with your teen about the risks and rewards of their online experiences and learn strategies to practice alongside them for developing a more balanced, healthy relationship with technology.
Bio: Reichi Lee has two kids at King and is the Director of Curriculum and Programs at My Digital TAT2, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting digital well-being and media literacy by helping young people navigate online complexities and think critically about their digital interactions.
